Professional Experience

Amit is a qualified lawyer having graduated from Chanakya National Law University in 2018 and is registered as an advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi. With around 6 years in the profession, Amit has advised several domestic and multinational companies from different regions including the United States, Japan, China, the European Union, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom across various industry sectors such as automobile, manufacturing, information technology, services, and pharma on a range of legal requirements.

He is a member of the firm’s transactions and general corporate team. He practices in the areas of transactional advisory including private equity and venture capital investments, mergers and acquisition, foreign investment, general corporate advisory and commercial contracts and agreements. Amit regularly advises and assists clients on structuring and negotiating transactions and is seasoned in drafting, negotiating and finalising terms sheets, shareholders’ agreements, share subscription agreements, share purchase agreements, business transfer agreements, asset purchase agreements and joint venture agreements. 

He actively advises companies on conducting business in India including but not limited to compliance matters, legal advisory, due diligence, licensing and approvals, regulatory, and day-to-day corporate and legal matters.
