Parag is a part of the IP & TMT team at the firm. His area of practice primarily focuses on matters related to trademarks, tradenames, copyrights and related rights, technology, and data privacy. He has extensive experience working with clients, ranging from individuals, start-ups and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, and has represented clients in a diverse array of industries, including fashion & apparel, cosmetics, hospitality, entertainment and media, food and beverages, gaming and education.

He is also responsible for handling every aspect of trademark and copyright prosecution, including trademark searching and clearance, devising pre-filing strategies, preparing and filing trademark and copyright applications, drafting and filing notices of opposition, counter statements, evidence affidavits, cease and desist notices, attending hearings before examiners and Registrars at the respective authorities. His work also involves advising and assisting clients in drafting and vetting license and assignment agreements, as well as handling other post-registration formalities.

Parag was earlier associated with India’s leading law firms and has gained valuable experience in Intellectual Property and other related laws. He also has experience in filing and prosecuting domain name dispute resolution proceedings under the .IN Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (INDRP) and the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
