Prashaant enrolled as an advocate in the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, with a keen interest in the areas of labour and employment laws, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate practice area.
He has experience in rendering advisory and preparing documents in respect of private equity transactions by providing end-to-end support from the term sheet stage to carrying out due diligence and participating in negotiations of transaction documents for both buyer and seller.
He has extensive experience in preparing memorandums and legal opinions and rendering advisory on the queries under labour and employment law for businesses and corporates situated in India and abroad. Vetting, and drafting of employment contracts, appointment letters of employees of a managerial and supervisory position and have prepared employment manuals, handbooks, ESOP plans in accordance with the requirements of the clients situated in India and abroad.
He handled and negotiated issues related to termination of directors and employees for Japanese clients and Indian clients. Experience in drafting and vetting of various service agreements, business transfer agreements, business collaboration agreements, distribution agreements, agreements to sell, sale deeds, and other commercial contracts.
