Nisha is a part of the IP & TMT team at the firm. Her area of practice includes Intellectual Property Law, Media & Entertainment Law, Information Technology Law, Data Privacy, Gaming Law and Commercial Law.

She advises clients on matters pertaining to brand protection and enforcement, brand licensing and acquisition of intellectual property assets, conducting intellectual property related due diligence. She renders opinions to Indian and foreign clients, conducting trademark clearance searches, tackling infringement and providing clearance opinions. She is also involved in drafting, reviewing and negotiation of agreements in the media and entertainment sector, advising clients on queries relating to Copyright Law, Gaming Law and IT Law, drafting of legal opinions and general advisory on the compliance issues relating to data privacy, intermediaries, online streaming platforms and etc.

Nisha has earlier worked with leading law firms and has gained valuable experience in IP, Media and Entertainment Law. She has been part of multiple due diligence exercises and assisted in negotiation of agreements for major acquisition deals in the media, entertainment and technology industry. She has advised production houses, television channels and leading OTT platforms with regard to legal issues in content clearance and has also been involved in negotiation of third-party licensing, assignment agreements on procurement of rights for content providers, channels and leading media companies.
